F.B.M. founders go their separate ways each founding their own company. Vittorio Minarelli founds F.B.Minarelli (Later Motori Minarelli) and Franco Morini establishes Morini Franco Motori.

The Pacer is Born
The Pacer is Born

Portofino International, Inc. begins importing mopeds from Italtelai and begins selling them under the brand name, Pacer.

Pacer mopeds came in three different models.

Portofino International, Inc. becomes Portofino Moped & Bicycle International, Inc.

Portofino International, Inc. becomes Portofino Moped & Bicycle International, Inc. and moves to 495 Smith St, Farmingdale New York.

PMBI sells the Pacer name and inventory to Aeon International Corporation
PMBI sells the Pacer name and inventory to Aeon International Corporation

PMBI sells the Pacer name and inventory to Aeon International Corporation, AIC, at 2165 Fifth Ave, Ronkonkoma, New York

1982
Aeon International Corporation sells the Pacer name and parts to Marina Mobili, Inc.
